Hi, I’m Nicola!

I have a soft spot for a great love story, and I’m here to make sure your ceremony is the absolute best part of your wedding day.

When you hand me the microphone, you can rest assured that your love story will be told exactly the way you want it: authentic, engaging, and completely you.

By day, I work as a behaviour and learning specialist for teachers, schools and whānau (families) around Hamilton.

What does that actually mean for your wedding?

It means I know exactly how to hold a room without stealing the spotlight. I speak with natural clarity and poise, keeping your guests genuinely engaged while making sure the overall vibe stays entirely relaxed and personal. And yes, my day job means I can effortlessly manage your rowdiest guests (or groomsmen) with absolute grace and a smile.

Weddings are beautifully significant, emotionally charged milestones, and I am here to be your calm in the storm. I’m highly organised, fiercely dependable, and ready to adapt to whatever the day throws at us.

Above all, I actually listen. I pay close attention to what matters most to the two of you, working to ensure your ceremony perfectly matches your vision.

The Personal Stuff

When I don't have a mic in my hand or I'm not helping out local schools, I’m just a mum to two beautiful daughters and a very lucky wife to my best friend, Jethro. I became a celebrant because I have a deep passion for bringing people together, and I'd love to do that for you.

I am incredibly proud to offer a safe, respectful, and celebratory space for everyone. Whether you are part of the Takatāpui / Queer community, are a neurodiverse couple, or are blending beautifully diverse traditions, my aim is to craft a ceremony that is inclusive and deeply meaningful.
